In this tutorial I demonstrate how to develop iOS applications for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, using the OpenPlug Flex Cross Compiler. If you wish to sign and sell your applications on the app store you need to purchase an Apple Developer License for $99. Please direct any questions about OpenPlug to their forum if your question goes unanswered in the comments below. Please note jailbreaking methods may vary depending on your device and the firmware you are running on.

Thomas Suarez is a 6th grade student at a middle school in the South Bay of Los Angeles. When Apple released the Software Development Kit (SDK), he began to create and sell his own applications. "My parents, my friends and even the people at the Apple store all supported me," he says, "and Steve Jobs inspired me". Thomas points out that it's hard to learn how to make an app. "For soccer you could go to a soccer team ... but what if you want to make an app?" He's started a club for fellow students at school, where he shares his knowledge of programming. Thomas articulates his vision that students are a valuable new technology resource to teachers, and should be empowered to offer assistance in developing the technology curriculum and also assist in delivering the lessons. Thomas has been fascinated by computers and technology since before kindergarten. Recently, he's been focused on the development of applications for the iPhone, and has established his own company, CarrotCorp www.carrotcorp.com His most successful application is one he terms "an anti-Justin-Bieber game" called "Bustin Jieber". Hello, Today I am going to be showing you the Apple Case Program App for iPhone 4. The Case Program App was released on the 23rd of July. The Case Program allows you to get a Free Case for your iPhone 4. During the video, I go over which apps are available through the Case Program. The Case Program was put into affect because of Apple's Antenna Issue's with the iPhone 4. When a case is put on an iPhone 4 the Antenna problems go away. Google Tech Talks October 14, 2008 ABSTRACT Apple's iPhone has resulted in significant interest from users and developers alike. Apple's SDK for the iPhone is based on Objective-C as the development language as well as Cocoa for the GUI. Unfortunately Apple's license agreement for the iPhone SDK prohibits the porting of the Java virtual machine to the iPhone. In this presentation we introduce an Open Source Java-to-Objective-C cross-compiler as well as a Java-based implementation of the Cocoa library. With the help of these tools, iPhone applications can be written in pure Java. Using the Java version of Cocoa, it is possible to run a Java-based iPhone application as a Java desktop/applet application that can be cross-compiled to run natively on the iPhone. The talk will discuss the challenges of the Java-to-Objective-C cross-compiler as well as the Java-based version of Cocoa.
